Center Parcs - Elveden Forest

Design and construction of New 3 storey Hotel and associated external works and drainage.

The project comprises of a 3 storey hotel, with 48 bedrooms, adjacent to the Aqua Sana on the edge of the existing golf course. The hotel comprises of an entrance lobby, a central stairwell, lift and linen store room, leading to a corridor which provides access to the service risers and bedroom accommodation (including accessible room).

The building is constructed using a heavy gauge steel framing with insulated panels which have been provided by PAW Structures. The steel frame has been formed on traditional concrete strip foundations. PAW Structures have also provided the roofing, which has been clad with metal sheet and an insulated single ply membrane. The ground floor was formed by concrete beams and block, covered with insulation and a self-levelling screed. Stair access to each floor is provided within the main structure and there is two sets of fire escape stairs at either end of the corridors.

The external face of the building is a combination of insulated timber cladding, stone work, and curtain walling and insulated render. There are balconies on the elevations facing the golf course, these again formed by PAW Structures and decked out with non-slip timber decking. These also have hardwood timber patio doors.
